A competitive examination for recruitment to the Himachal Pradesh Forest Service (HPFS) (Assistant Conservator of Forests) Examination 2011, for which applications are invited from the eligible and desirous Indian citizens for admission to the written examination to be conducted at Shimla centre(s), followed by Physical Standard test and viva-voice test for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Conservator of Forests to be filled in on the basis of H.P.F.S. Examination, 2011.

Assistant Conservator of Forest Class-I, Gazetted - 08 Posts(Gen-03.SC of HP-01, General Ex-serviceman of H.P-03)
Salary - Pay Scale Rs.10300-34800 + Grade Pay of rs.5000/-
Age Limit : 21 to 34 Years
Qualification : A candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Science or Engineering from a recognized University with atleast  having one of the following subjects:- Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Application/Science, Engineering (Agriculture/ Chemical/ Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical), Environmental Science,Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, Zoology.
