Department Basic sciences, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Engineering- and Earth Sciences.
Scale of Pay
Professor: Rs. 37400-67000 (Pay Band - 4) with academic grade pay of Rs. 10000 (minimum starting salary at Rs. 43000).
Associate Professor:Rs. 37400-67000 (Pay Band - 4) with academic grade pay of Rs. 9000.
Assistant Professor:Rs. 15600-39100 (Pay Band - 3) with academic grade pay of Rs. 6000.
Qualification
Professor: Ph.D. degree with First Class at Master’s or Bachelor’s degree level in appropriate branch of Engineering Science, with 10 years experience of teaching and research and / or of industry in a reputed organisation, of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Reader or equivalent position.
Associate Professor :Ph.D. degree with First Class at Master’s or Bachelor’s degree level in appropriate branch of Engineering science, with 8 years experience of teaching and research and / or of industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent position, excluding the period spent on obtaining the research degree.
Assistant Professor :First class Master’s Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering Science.
