ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF FACULTY POSITIONS
NIT, Rourkela invites applications from Indian nationals possessing excellent academic background along with commitment to quality teaching and potential for carrying out relevant research for faculty positions at the level of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.
  • Assistant Professor - 89 Posts 
    • Qualification : Ph. D degree with 1stclass (60%) or equivalent grade (6.5/10) at the B.Tech. / M.Sc. / M.A / MBA level in appropriate branch. 
    • Age Limit : 35 Years, 
    • Pay Scale: PB-3:+AGP-6000/7000/8000/-
  • Associate Professor- 11 Posts 
    •  Qualification : Ph. D degree with 1st class (60%) or equivalent grade (6.5/10) at the B.Tech. / M.Sc. / M.A / MBA level in appropriate branch. 
    • Experience: At least 6 years of post Ph. D teaching/research/industrial experience out of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent. 
    • Age Limit : 40 Years 
    • Pay Scale: PB-4 + AGP-9000/-
  • Professor -10 Posts 
    • Qualification : Ph. D degree with 1st class (60%) or equivalent grade (6.5/10) at the B.Tech. / M.Sc. / M.A / MBA level in appropriate branch 
    • Experience: At least 10 years of post Ph. D teaching/research/industrial experience, out of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent. 
    • Age Limit : 50 Years 
    • Pay Scale:PB-4 + AGP-10000/-
