Goa Shipyard Limited, a Public Sector Company under the Ministry of Defense, is presently engaged in the activities of designing and building special purpose modern sophisticated ships for the Navy , Coast Guard, Commercial and Export segment. The Company is looking for the following personnel.
  • Hindi Steno Typist - 01 Post 
    • Age Limit: 38 years as on 31.05.2011 
    • Qualification:(a ) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any faculty from a Recognized University with Hindi and English subjects at Higher Secondary examination level with minimum Hindi Shorthand speed of 80/100 w.p.m. and Hindi typewriting speed of 30 w.p.m. plus one year certificate course in computer application and one year experience in the line is essential.(b) Knowledge of English shorthand / typewriting is desirable. 
    • Pay Scale: Rs.6400-3%-20910/- (M-4)
  • Store Assistant - 01 Post 
    • Age Limit :38 years as on 31.05.2011 
    • Quantification : Degree in any discipline 
    •  Pay Scale; Rs.6000-3%-16950/- (W-3)
  • Deputy Manager/ Assistant Manager (Finance) - 01 Post 
    • Age Limit: 38/35 years as on 31.05.2011 
    • Qualification:Graduate with Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost and Works Accountant of India or Full time MBA in Finance from reputed Universities / Institutes. Candidate should have 4/1 year of post qualification experience for Dy. Manager and Assistant Manager respectively in Finance, Accounts, Pay Roll, Accounts Finalization and Co-ordination of Audit etc. Knowledge of ERP and computers is desirable. 
    • Pay Scale:Rs.20600-3%-46500(E-2) Rs.16400-3%-40500/-(E-1)
  • Structural Fitter - 04 Posts 
    • Age Limit: 33 years as on 31.05.2011 
    • Qualification : National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) in the trade of Structural Fitter or National Trade Certificate (ITI/NTC) in the trade of Fitter/Sheet Metal Worker 
    • Pay Scale:Rs.6000-3%-16950/-(W-3)
  • Office Assistant (On fixed term basis for 02 years) - 03 Posts 
    • Age Limit : 33 years as on 31.05.2011 
    • Qualification : Graduate from a recognized University with lower typing certificate (30 w.p.m.) and 01 yr certificate in computer applications. 
    • Pay Scale: Ist Year : Rs.6200/- IInd Year : Rs.6390/- in pay scale of Rs.6200-3%-20270 (M-3). Plus Allowances
  • Diploma Trainee (Shipbuilding Engg.)- 01 Post 
    • Age Limit : 33 years as on 31.05.2011 
    • Qualification : Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering (03 years full time course)Desirable Qualification: Ability to work on AutoCAD. 
    • Pay Scale: Stipent of Rs.8000/-p.m
  • Assistant Superintendent (Finance)-On Fixed term basis for 02 years - 01 Post 
    • Age Limit: 35 years as on 31.05.2011 
    • Qualification: Graduate with Inter CA or Inter ICWA. 
    • Pay Scale:Ist Year : Rs. 9000/- IInd year: Rs. 9270/- in pay scale of Rs.9000-3%-23300 (S-1). Plus Allowances
