WALK – IN – INTERVIEW
The Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, and New Delhi intends to recruit SRF and skilled helper in the following projects purely on contractual basis in the following Projects of Dr. R. S. Raje, Senior Scientist.
  • Senior Research Fellow (SRF)-01 Post 
    • Salary:Rs.16000/- Plus HRA 
    • Qualification : M.Sc in Genetic &/or Plant Breeding / Biotechnology/Plant Molecular Biology /Biochemistry/Genetic Engineering (with specialization in Plants as evidenced through project work),Desirable: Experience in screening for abiotic stress tolerance in crops and molecular techniques.
  • Skilled Workers-02 Posts 
    • Salary:Rs.8000/- (fixed), 
    • Qualification :Matriculation (10th) or equivalent from recognized board,Desirable: Knowledge of field operations and lab work.
ICAR funded project “Evaluation and production of CGMS based hybrids for enhancement of productivity and stability of yield in pigeon pea”
  • Senior Research Fellow (SRF)-01 Post 
    • Salary: Rs.16000/- Plus HRA 
    • Qualification : M.Sc in Genetic &/or Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/Plant Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Genetic Engineering (with specialization in Plants as evidenced through project work)
  • Skilled Workers-02 Posts 
    • Salary: Rs.8000/- (fixed), 
    • Qualification :Matriculation (10th) or equivalent from recognized board,Desirable: Knowledge of field operations and lab work.
Age Limit: Maximum age 35 years for SRF & 40 years for Skilled Worker (age relaxation of five years forSC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
Date of Interview: The interview of eligible candidates for post of SRF will be held on 29th July, 2011 at 10.00 A.M. and for Skilled Workers on 30th July, 2011 at 10 A.M. in the chamber of Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
How to apply :-The
candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, attested photocopies of all the required
certificates from matriculation onwards (for skilled workers pass certificate as required is essentially to be
produced for verification) and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph.
