Applications are invited from the Indian Citizen possessing the following qualification and fulfilling the hereinafter mentioned criteria for appointment to the post of Non-Official Marriage Officer for the area and the number of post mentioned below in different Blocks,Municipality and Corporations of different districts in West Bengal which will be working jurisdiction of the Non-Official Marriage Officers.
  • Non-Official Marriage Officers-266 Posts 
    • Qualification : The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or the equivalent Examination from a recognized Board / Council / Madrasah of the State Government/Central Government/Union Territory and must have workable knowledge of computer and well conversant with the language of the area which he/she likes to apply.
    • Age Limit : Age of the applicant is not less than 25 years and not more than 40 years
Last Date : 30/08/2011
How to apply :-A person cannot apply for the Non-Official Marriage Officer for more than 1 (one) area.Application in enclosed format along with attested copies of certificates in respect of his/herage , qualification and proof of residence duly certified by Gram Prodhan/ Councillor / Group-A officer of Central/State Government along with attested 3 (three) passport size black andwhite photographs ( one pasted on the top right side of the application and other twoenclosed with the application) and 2 (two) self-addressed envelope 22cm.x 10cm.must reachthe Secretary, Judicial Department, Government of West Bengal, Writers Buildings, Kolkata -700 001 within 30 th August 2011.
