  • Constable (General Duty) - 48,802, may increase upto 90,000 
    • Pay Scale Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay – Rs.2000/-. 
    • Age Limit : 18-23 as on 01.08.2012.
Last Date for Online Apply : 07/01/2012.
How to apply:-A number of candidates who have completed Part I Registration of Online applications have not been able to complete Part II Registration on the website http://ssconline.nic.in. In order to enable such candidates to complete Part II Registration, Part II Registration will be available on both the websites www.sscregistration.sifyitest.com and www.ssconline.nic.inupto 5.00 P.M. on 07.01.2012. Part I Registration of Online application will, however, be available upto 5.00 P.M. on 02.01.2012 only. Consequently, the closing date for receipt of offline applications is also extended upto 07.01.2012 upto 5.00 P.M.
