The Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union, offers a challenging and inspiring career as a Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer in the pay scale for Assistant Commandant at Rs.15600-39100(Revised) with Grade Pay Rs 5400.
  • Assistant Commandant General Duty (Men) 
    • Qualification : Bachelor’s degree with 60% Male marks in aggregate of a university recognised by the Central/ State Govt./UGC and with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Maths & Physics of 12th Class or equivalent. 
    • Age Limit : 01 Jul 87 to 30 Jun 91 (both dates inclusive).
  • Assistant Commandant General Duty (a) Pilot (b)Navigator or Observer (Men and Women Unmarried). 
    • Qualification : B.Sc with Maths & Physics and 55% marks in aggregate and minimum 60% in 12 th Std of 10+2+3 or equivalent scheme of education. (Physics or Maths should be one of the Subject in final year of B.Sc Degree. 
    • Age Limit : 01 Jul 85 to 30 Jun 93 (both dates inclusive).
  • Assistant Commandant (Commercial Pilot License) (Men and Women, Unmarried). 
    • Qualification : 12th class passed or equivalent with 60% marks and should possess current / valid Commercial Pilot license (CPL) approved by (DGCA) on the date of registration.
    • Age Limit : 01 Jul 85 to 30 Jun 93 (both dates inclusive).
  • Assistant Commandant Technical branch (Electrical)(Men) 
    • Qualification : (i) Degree with 65% marks in aggregate in Electrical/ Tele Communication & Electronic or equivalent qualification, in any of the above discipline, reconised by All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE).or(ii) Have passed Section 'A' & 'B' of Institute of Engineers (India) Examination in any of discipline listed at sl no. (i).or(iii) Candidates with minimum 60% marks in M Tech and BE/B Tech. 
    • Age Limit :01 Jul 82 to 30 Jun 91 (both dates inclusive).
