NPCIL is involved in Design, Construction, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of Nuclear Power Plants invites application for the post of Stipendiary Trainees (Scientific Assistant -B (Group-B) and Stipendiary Trainees (Technician-B (Group-C) and Scientific Assistant-C and Technician-C to work in the areas of plant Operation, Maintenance and Services meeting the following requirements for initial posting at Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project, Kudankulam PO, Tirunelveli District, Tamilnadu.
  • Stipendiary Trainee (Scientific Assistant -B) - 13 Posts (SC-01, ST-03, OBC-03, UR-06)
    •  Discipline : Mechanical - 10 Posts and Chemical : 03 Posts.
    •  Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 Years,
    •  Duration of Training: 18 Months, 
    • Stipend during training:  During training period a stipend of Rs9300/- p.m. (consolidated) will be paid.
  • Stipendiary Trainee (Technician /B) - 17 Posts(SC-01, OBC-03, UR-13) 
    •  Discipline: Process/ Plant Operators -08 Posts, Electrician-03 Posts, Fitter - 03 Posts. 
    • Age Limit: 18 - 24 Years, 
    • Duration of Training: 24 Months, 
    •  Stipend during training: During training period a stipend of Rs.6200/- p.m. (consolidated) will be paid in the first year and Rs.7200/- p.m. (consolidated) will be paid in the second year.
  • Scientific Assistant /C - 15 Posts (SC-01, ST-01, OBC-05, UR-08) 
    • Discipline: Mechanical -10 Posts, Electrical-02 Posts, Instrumention-01 Post, Civil-02 Posts, 
    • Age Limit: Not more than 35 Years, 
    • Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs.4600.
  • Technician / C - 15 Posts(SC-02, OBC-04, UR-09) 
    • Discipline: Electrcian-01 Post, Fitter -11 Post, Plumber-02 Posts, Inst.Mechanic-01 Post,
    •  Age Limit: Not more than 35 Years, 
    • Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/-.
