Kolkata Port trust Invites applications for the following posts:-
  • Technical Personnel - 02 Posts (Contract basis) 
    • Qualification: Have passed at least 3 years Diploma Course in Electronics / Electrical Engineering of State Council of Technical Education, West Bengal /from any other Indian state / equivalent
    •  Age Limit : Age not less than 45 years and not more than 55 years as on 01-06-2011 
    • Salary : Rs.12,000/-  per month consolidated.
    • Last Date : 15-07-2011
  • Medical Officer- 01 Post 
    • Qualification : Must have MBBS Degree or equivalent.
    •  Salary : Scale of pay Rs.20600 – 46500/- 
    • Age Limit : The upper age limit is 30 years,
    • Last Date : 29-07-2011.
  • General Duty Medical Officers - 02 Posts 
    • Qualification & Experience : The candidate must possess MBBS Degree from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 1 year experience after internship. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in ICU of a recognized hospital or a hospital of repute. 
    • Age Limit : No bar. 
    • Salary : Rs.36000/- per month.

  • Medical Officers - 04 Posts 
    • Qualifications : MBBS Degree or equivalent and Full term of House Appointment ship in the Indoor Wards of a First Grade Hospital including the job of Resident Senior House Surgeon/Physician. 
    • Salary : scale of pay of Rs. 20600-46500/- by direct recruitment 
    • Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on 01/06/2011. 
    •  Last Date : 29-07-2011.
  • Resident Medical Officer / House Staff - 04 Posts 
    • Qualification :Candidate must possess MBBS degree from a recognized University/Institute with one year compulsory internship. The preference will be given to candidates having experience as House Staff in a recognized Hospital or a Hospital of repute. 
    •  Salary : Rs.20000/- per month consolidated. 
    • Last Date : 15/07/2011.
  • Radio Officers - 03 Posts 
    • Qualification: 2nd Class Certificate of Proficiency in Wireless Telegraphy issued by the Ministry of Communications along with GOC in GMDSS. 
    • Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years. 
    •  Salary : Rs.20000/- per month consolidated. 
    • Last Date : 15/07/2011.
  • Inspector - 01 Post 
    • Eligibility: Port Security Organisation, on contract basis, from amongst ex. Army, Police, CISF, BSF, in the rank equivalent to Inspector in Police. 
    • Experience : Experience of not less than 15 years in Army/Police/CISF/BSF. 
    • Qualification : He should be at least Graduate in any discipline of a recognized University, 
    • Age Limit : Age should be 40 to 55 years on the date of application. 
    • Salary : Rs.12000/- per month consolidated. 
    • Last Date : 15-07-2011.
  • Sub Inspectors - 03 Posts 
    • Eligibility : Port Security Organisation, on contract basis, from amongst ex. Army, Police, CISF, BSF, in the rank equivalent to Sub-Inspector in Police 
    • Experience: Experience of not less than 15 years in Army/Police/CISF/BSF. 
    • Qualification :He should be at least Graduate in any discipline of a recognized University, 
    • Age Limit : Age should be 40 to 55 years on the date of application. 
    • Salary : Rs.10000/- per month consolidated.
