Short Service Entry Commission(NT) for Men & Women
(Including Widows of Defence Personnel for Tech and Non-Tech Entry)
Applications are invited from UNMARRIED / MARIIED male and unmarried female or widow of defence personnel candidates for grant of Short Service Commission in Indian Army.
  • NCC Men - 50 Posts(45 for Gen Catagory, 5 for ward of Battle Casualities)
  • NCC Women -06 Posts( 10% reserved for Wards of Battle Casualities of Army only)
  • Widows of Defence Personnel - 02 Posts(01-SSCW(Tech),01-SSCW (non-Tech)
Age limit:19 to 25 years
Qualification : (i)SSCW(Non-Tech)- Graduate in any discipline (ii)SSCW(Tech) BE/B.Tech in the nitofied Branch of SSCW(Tech) issued of Employement news dared 18 jan 2011.(iii) NCC'C'Cetificate holders to appear directly for SSB Service Course ( Non Technical) at officers Training Academy, Chennai.Degree of recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks all the years,
Pay Scale: During the Period of training the candidates will be given a stipent of Rs.21000/-p.m(Rs.15000/- pay in Pay Band plus Grade pay Rs.5400/-) On completion of training, Officer as commissioned at Lt and entitled to the pay band of Rs.15600-39100 + GP.Rs.5400/- and Military service pay of Rs.6000/-

Last Date for NCC Bn/Gp HQ-10 :16/08/2011
Last Date for Rtg Dte from Dte Gen NCC: 01/10/2011.
